Sudanese American Women Doctors Association (SAWDA) is none for profit charity organization - NPO 501c3 registered in the state of Michigan, USA.

SAWDA, was created by an enthusiastic group of women physicians in the city of Grand Blanc, Michigan in 2014.

The organization believes that women doctors are faced by unique challenges of their own while in route to practice or to have a career as well as the other general obstacles experienced by all physicians in general.

We are involve in supporting SAWDA members academically and psychologically as they proceed forward in their careers. SAWDA is also involved in community health education / free clinics here and abroad, as well as continued medical education and career / health updates for our members.

Our organization is also helping with donations to charity humane purposes in the area of disease prevention and treatment and in natural disasters when needed.
